Transition program for young adults
ages 18-21
Mission: To achieve independence and integration into the community by providing life skill opportunities. Vision: All young adults with disabilities will obtain their ultimate potential.

Journey is a special education program that serves as a conduit to adult services with an emphasis on independent living skills and vocational skill development.


The Journey Program's off-site, community-based facility offers an atmosphere appropriate for young adults in a post high school program.

Journey offers:
- Community-based vocational experiences.
- Vocational training, evaluation and support services.
- Community-based instructional real world environments.
- Educational professionals working collaboratively with adult agencies and community resources.
- Related services by communication, occupational, and physical specialists.
- Skill development of self-advocacy, citizenship, social competency, employability and life-long successfulness.
