CALC High School Day Program
This alternative education program is for high school students who seek a high school diploma but prefer a less traditional approach to instruction and learning. The program follows the district calendar and runs Monday through Friday. Students much complete a registration process before attending classes.
Day Program Schedule
8:30 am - 2:45 pm, Monday - Friday
* Work program students have the option to leave at 11:40 am.
* Non work program students leave at 2 pm.
* 10th grade and SOAR (grades 8/9) students leave at 2:45 am.

CALC 10th Grade Program
This program is designed for 15 & 16 year old students. The emphasis is on improving a student's academic performance and attendance.
Daily schedule is 8:30 am - 2:45 pm, Monday - Friday. Students have an open lunch.
Students follow the senior high bus schedule, and are transported by a shuttle bus to/from CALC.
The shuttle bus schedule is:
AM - Departs CHS at 8:20 am
         Arrives to CALC at 8:30 am
PM - Departs CALC at 2:50 pm
         Arrives to CHS at 3 pm
All Centennial students must be referred by their school counselor.

CALC SOAR Program (Student Opportunities Academic Results)
This is a full day program designed for students in grades 8-9.
This comprehensive program is limited to fifteen students. The purpose is to engage students in the learning process, while responding to their individual educational needs.
Daily schedule is: 8:30 am - 2:45 pm, Monday - Friday
Students have an open lunch.
Students follow the senior high bus schedule, and are transported by a shuttle bus to/from CALC.

        Arrives to CALC at 8:30 am
PM - Departs CALC at 2:50 pm
        Arrives to CHS at 3 pm

CALC High School Night Program
Night school is designed for the high school students who prefer a different approach to instruction. The night program allows students to catch up on credits needed for a high school diploma.
Students attend class on Tuesday afternoon, 3:30 - 5:00 pm
All Centennial High School students must be referred by their high school counselor.

Special Education Programming

Journey Transition Program
Journey is a special education program designed for students with unique needs and abilities who are between the ages of 18-21. This program serves as a conduit to adult services with an emphasis on independent living and vocational skill development.

Adult Transition
Adult Transition offers academic programming for special education students between 18-21 years of age. Students must meet specific goals on their Individual Education Plan in order to graduate. The goals focuses on five areas of transition: post secondary education and training; employment; community participation; recreation & leisure; and home living. This is an academic program with a vocational focus that provides linkages to resources as needed and helps students with the transition following high school.

HIRE
HIRE learning is a special education program designed to teach hands-on job skills. Through involvement with HIRE retail craft store, students develop business, social interaction, and professional etiquette skills as well as examine career options. Classroom format focuses on students becoming responsible, independent, and self-motivated employees through creating crafts, organizing materials and supplies, completing daily assignments, and self-evaluation activities.

Centennial Express (a targeted services program)
Centennial Express is an after school enrichment program for students in grades 2-6. This is an activities based program focusing on academics, personal development and socialization. Express classes are held at the student's school two afternoons per week, November through February. Students must be referred to the program by their classroom teacher.
The Centennial Express summer program meets for three weeks in August at the Centennial Area Learning Center. For additional information and registration contact Cathy Tschida at 763-785-4646.
