Centennial
was named a National School of Excellence by the United
States Department of Education. Students and staff strive for
excellence in academics, activities, the arts, and service to
the community. Centennial students compete in athletics and activities
in the Northwest Suburban Conference of the Minnesota State High
School League. CHS students are strong competitors receiving honors
in academics, the arts, and athletics.
CHS features a two building campus with students participating
in classroom and after school activities in both buildings. The
building on the east end of the campus is called the red building. West of the red building
is the white building.
Other buildings on the campus include the District Office, Centennial Elementary, and the Centennial Sports Arena .
Centennial operates on a four-block
schedule with 85 minute classes. School start time is 8:20 am
and ends at 3 pm. Principal Tom Breuning is assisted by Assistant
Principals Dr. Bonnie A. Thoms, Karen Allen, Dan Wrobleski and
