Student Assistance Team (SAT)

Members:

Administrators (principals, assistant principals, deans)
ALC counselor
All school counselors & social workers
School psychologist
Student assistance coordinator
Special education representative
School nurse

Meets Weekly
Purpose: To address academic and social/emotional concerns of students at risk and to coordinate services to these students.
How to access: Any staff member may bring a student concern to SAT. SAT team members place name on a weekly agenda.

Items that may be discussed:
  * Support group referrals
  * 504 plans-review and concerns
  * Special education referrals
  * Transition students
  * Record reviews
  * Referrals to Freshman Focus and Academic Support
  * General consultation
