Middle School is committed to providing a challenging educational
experience for its students. The Talented and Gifted (TAG)
program has taken on a new face due to changes in the schedule,
course offerings, team organization and staff. The middle
school TAG Resource staff is available on a part-time basis to
provide information and serve as a liaison and advocate for gifted
students and families in order to identify and access opportunities
for academic acceleration and enrichment as well as
challenges/activities outside the regular day, communicate program
goals and resources clearly to students, parents and staff, and
provide support services to classroom teachers to aid them in
meeting the academic and affective needs of gifted students through
differentiation, as well as providing monthly TAG meetings for
identified students during Advisory.
