Latest Results Show Centennial Continues to be a High Performing District

The release of the  Multiple Measurements Rating data from the Minnesota Department of Education shows the Centennial School District exceeded  state averages in overall proficiency, student growth and closing the achievement gap. The district's two Title I schools are both recognized as "Reward" schools for their high performance. 

 

The District Takes a Look at Changing School Start Times

The District proposes changes to school start times and busing schedules, effective 2013-2014. District administration studied the impact of start times on student learning and other school operations, including bus transportation.

Centennial Students "Solve Their Way" to International Competition (pdf, 127 KB)

Centennial students, grades 4-8, have been developing problem-solving skills through the Future Problem Solving Program (FPSP). Two teams landed an opportunity to advance to the international competition to be held at the University of Indiana in June.

A simulated, fatal accident at Centennial High School was designed to drive home a message to teens that it is unsafe to drive while drinking, texting or under the influence of narcotics.

North Suburban Cougars Clinch C1 Title

For the second time in school history, a Centennial varsity team has won a state championship! The North Suburban Cougars, CHS' adapted floor hockey team, won the MSHSL State Tournament.
