State Representative Linda Runbeck and Anoka County Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah gave talks to Centennial Journey students on their jobs and responsibilities as elected officials. Sivarajah, left, compared the layers of government to a layered cake while Runbeck gave an example on the state’s regulations and the impact on our daily life. One example is the state’s role in ensuring safe water for everyone.

State Representative Linda Runbeck and Anoka County Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah visited students in the Journey program. They gave talks on their jobs as public officials and how they work with residents of the county and the state.
