School Board Names Employees of the Year

From left, Julie Enwright, Laura Lund, and Sandy Byron were named Employees of the Year for their contributions to the District.

The Centennial School Board named three staff members as Employees of the Year. Making a significant impact on the District are:

Julie Enwright, Vocal Music Teacher, Centennial High School, for her dedication to students and colleagues and for her recognition of music as a continuation throughout a student’s school years and lifetime.

Laura Lund, Benefits Specialist, for her positive attitude in supporting all staff throughout the District, and for her endless volunteer hours spent rescuing wildlife. She has her Master Level Permit for Wildlife Rehabilitation with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Sandy Byron, Centennial Elementary Clerk, for her tireless effort and dedication to students, her management of books fairs, a summer reading program and for her work with the Student Leadership Council to organize and implement the Power Pack Food Drive.

Also acknoweledged were staff with employment milestones from 5-30 years of service as well as staff retiring from the District.
