CHS Choir Students Earn High Marks at Contests

March 24, 2015

Centennial Choir Department had 61 entries at the Region 5AA Vocal Solo/Ensemble Contest, earning 45 Superior Ratings (the highest rating possible) and 16 Excellent ratings. Juniors  Adam Drabek and Jessica Zolo received a perfect score. Junior Adam Drabek and Senior Tatum DeBlieck received the Best At Site Award. Three choirs participated in the Region 5AA Vocal Large Group Contest and came out big winners. 

Future Problem Solvers Solve their Way to the International Competition

Centennial students came out "tops" in every competition division at the Future Problem Solving State Competition, held at Centennial Middle School. Students solved their way into the International Competition in every division.

The CHS dance team kicked their way to State, taking second in the 3AAA section kick competition event and competing in the Minnesota State High School League tourney on Saturday, February 14 at the Target Center.

Two Centennial Seniors Lean on Student Body to Help Pack 75,000 Meals for Children in Need

Makenzie Hart and Ryan Meany led the initiative to pack 75,000 meals throughout the school day today for children in developing countries. It took 360 volunteers and over $16,000 in donations from the community to make this possible.

Donate Your Eyeglasses and Make a Difference!

January 21, 2015

Drop off your no-longer-needed eyeglasses or mail them to Blue Heron Elementary and make a difference in someone’s life. Mr. Gutbrod’s fifth grade class is partnering with the Circle-Lex Lions’ Club to make sure the glasses are cleaned, repaired and sent to people in need in developing countries.
