Mystery Numbers

Follow these instructions, and the sum of the numbers circled will always add up to 34.

1.  Circle any number, then cross off all other numbers in the horizontal row and vertical column.

5        6      7       8

9     10      11     12

13     14      15     16

2.  Repeat this process for another number and then a third number.
3.  Circle the only number that is left over.
4.  The sum of the circled numbers will always add up to 34, no matter which numbers you circle.

together can give some odd results.
