Free & Reduced Lunch Program

Children need nutritious meals to learn. Children in households participating in food Stamps, Minnesota Family Investment Plan (MFIP), or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) can get free meals regardless of income. Free or reduced-price meals are also available if household income is within the income shown on the income chart. Households participating in WIC may also be eligible. Participants do not have to be U.S. citizens.

Applications cannot be approved if any required information is missing. You may be asked to send written proof of information. You may apply at any time during the school year is your income goes down, household size goes up or if you start getting Food Stamps, MFIP or FDPIR benefits. Approval is valid for the school year.

To apply for free or reduced-price school meals and/or to help schools qualify for additional education funds and discounts, an Application for Educational Benefits must be completed. Return the completed application to Centennial Schools, Attn: Heidi Erickson, 399 Elm Street, Lino Lakes, MN 55014.
