Meet the Counselors

The Centennial High School Counselors help students individually and within groups to grow personally and socially.  We support students in developing an individual plan for academic success.  The Counselors teach students the importance of career exploration and work with all students, parents, and teachers to improve student achievement.

**Confidentiality**
Counseling services are confidential in nature. Exceptions include situations in which personal safety or immediate health needs may be an issue. In those cases, additional support may be required.

Centennial High School Counselors will volunteer to be Site Supervisors for college graduate students in training to become licensed School Counselors. This experience is very similar to the role of Teachers who supervise Student Teachers in the school. The practicum experience is designed to provide the graduate student with as many realistic experiences in a school setting as possible. The goal is to get experience in Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Classroom Guidance and Parent Involvement. Please be aware that students may meet directly with a Counselor Intern who follows the same Ethical Standards for School Counselors. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Counseling Office.
