Requirements
Annual Testing
- Minnesota law requires homeschool students to take a standardized, nationally normed achievement test each year.
- The test name must be included with registration and re-enrollment.
- Test scores are not submitted to the district but must be kept in your records.

Subject Requirements
Homeschool instruction must be provided in at least the following subject areas:

Basic communication skills including reading and writing, literature and fine arts

Mathematics and science

Social Studies including history, geography, economics, government and citizenship
