What if a participant or child tests positive for COVID-19?

  • A general COVID-19 positive case letter will be sent to the students assigned to the pod where the outbreak takes place.
  •  If your student tests positive, siblings are not required to quarantine per the Minnesota Department of Health.

Monitor/screen for symptoms.

  • If staff have symptoms, stay home and symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.
    • It is highly recommended staff be tested for COVID-19. Monitor/screen for symptoms.
    • If the test is positive, stay home for 10 days.

Who needs to quarantine?
