Elementary Return-to-School FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) ABOUT CENTENNIAL’S
RE-ENTRY PLAN FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES K-5

Centennial’s re-entry plan was developed in response to the Governor’s recommendation to have elementary students, kindergarten through 5th grade, return to schools, full-time for in-person learning. The Governor prioritized the return of elementary students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade to in-person learning on or after January 18, 2021.

  • Students in grades kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd will return to in-person learning beginning Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
  • Students in grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th will return to in-person learning beginning Monday, February 8, 2021.
  • Changes for elementary students do not affect students in grades 6-12 who will remain in distance learning. The State has not changed the requirements for the 6-12 learning model. We are required to follow the same protocol and parameters already in place. We will continue to work with the Regional Support Team to determine when to bring students in grades 6-12 back.
