Centennial Forward: Building the Future of Centennial Schools
Shaping our schools for tomorrow, together
Centennial Forward is our district’s long-range planning process to ensure schools remain vibrant, safe, and ready to meet the needs of current and future learners. This effort focuses on balancing educational priorities, fiscal responsibility, and long-term stewardship of district resources.
Our goal is to plan responsibly for the facilities and spaces that support the high-quality education and strong community connections Centennial families value most.

Why It Matters
Strong schools make strong communities. Centennial Schools have served generations of learners, but as facilities age and student needs evolve, the district must plan ahead.
Through Centennial Forward, we are taking a proactive, data-informed approach to:
- Maintain safe, well-functioning, and efficient schools,
- Support modern learning environments and teaching practices, and
- Ensure our investments today continue to benefit students, families, and taxpayers in the years ahead.
How We Got Here
Centennial Forward has been co-created in partnership with our community. Over the past two years, parents, staff, students, and community members have served on Long-Range Planning Committees, working alongside district leaders to review data, study facility needs, and develop recommendations.
Their work included:
- Reviewing facility and enrollment data
- Studying instructional, co-curricular, and community space needs
- Evaluating maintenance and safety priorities across all schools
Where We Are Now
The Long-Range Planning Committees identified four key areas that represent the greatest needs across the district and the priorities our community values most.
These focus areas align with Centennial’s Strategic Roadmap priorities – Connecting, Achieving, and Preparing – and reflect the community’s expectation of responsible stewardship.

Your Voice Matters
As the Centennial Forward plan is refined, community feedback is essential. Over the next several months, the district is engaging families, staff, and residents through small-group meetings, advisory committees, and an online feedback form.
Please review the information on this website and share your feedback via the form below. Your input will help refine priorities and guide recommendations slated to go before the School Board in Spring 2026.
