Become a Promise Fellow at Centennial Middle School
July 13, 2021
Centennial Middle School is looking for Promise Fellows for the 2021-2022 school year. It is a rewarding job that gives college graduates an opportunity to help students succeed by assisting them with their academics, behavior, and attendance.
If your child participated in one of more of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA's) this spring, preliminary test results are now available in the "Assessment" tab of Campus Portal. Open the attached letter for more information about the test and for directions on how to access the results via Campus Portal. Once available from the Minnesota Department of Education, detailed 2021 MCA results will be sent home this fall.
Again this year, the Centerville Parks and Recreation Committee sponsored a logo art contest to design the 2021 Fete des Lacs logo. Middle School students were encouraged to participate in this fun competition. There were two contests: one at Centerville Elementary School and one at Centennial Middle School. This year the Fete des Lacs theme was “Centerville Heroes,” which can be interpreted in a variety of ways. 1st and 2nd place winners at both schools were selected; and the winners will be receiving $100 and $50 cash prizes respectively. The winning logo(s) will be used to promote Fete des Lacs and featured on the Festival’s annual 5K/8K run t-shirts, on posters, flyers, and newspaper articles.
