Centennial Students are Accomplishing Great Things!

September 03, 2015

Once again Centennial ISD 12 exceeded state test averages in overall proficiency, in some cases by 20% or more, and also retained our spot as one of the highest performing districts in the region.  Furthermore, two of the District’s elementary schools—Centennial Elementary and Golden Lake Elementary—received the status of Reward Schools for the third year in a row, the highest honor bestowed to any Title I School in the state. Centennial students are accomplishing great things!

Minnesota developed an accountability system that is focused on closing the achievement gap and promoting high growth for all students. A Multiple Measurements Rating (MMR) is given to all schools in the state on an annual basis and measures school performance in the areas of proficiency, growth, achievement gap reduction and graduation rates.
