Register Today for Kids Club Summer C.A.M.P.

C.A.M.P. begins June 8
May 20, 2020

The Summer C.A.M.P. program will be a smaller, more personalized summer experience. These small groups will be a special opportunity for kids to come together to build a mini summer family. We envision strong bonds to be created between kids and staff. We see classrooms doing student-directed activities which could include Zoology Club or an Artist Studio.

Spending time outdoors is crucial during Minnesota summers; kids will be creating scavenger hunts or enjoying read-alouds under a shady tree. Can you imagine small groups writing and performing their own play? Virtual field trips will play an important role in learning about our world. We will “travel” to the Great Wall of China,  tour the NASA Space Center and “visit” a giraffe at the San Diego Zoo.

Does your child love a competition? Minute to Win It could be up your child’s alley or Summer Olympic games where kids will have the opportunity to learn about different countries and participate in events. The beauty of Summer Kids Club is we have the time and resources to explore all of the interests of each individual child.

The Minnesota Department of Health released the Guidance for Social Distancing in Youth and Student Programs. This also came with the go-ahead for school age care programs to plan for their summer programs. This was the news we have been waiting weeks to hear; we know so many families depend on this program.

We hope you'll join us for a summer of fun!
