Olivia Ruble and Jake Schneider Nominated for Triple A, for excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.

Centennial High School Seniors Olivia Ruble and Jacob Schneider have been nominated for the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Academics, Arts and Athletics Award (Triple A).

Established in 1988, the Triple A Award acknowledges a male and female high school senior with a 3.0 or higher GPA who participates in League-sponsored athletic programs and fine arts activities such as theater, speech and music. Both Ruble and Schneider are participants in a variety of programs at Centennial High School and involved in our communities.

Ruble's awards and activities at Centennial include National Honor Society; Centennial Choir (4 years)—NWSC All-Conference Choir, Solo/Ensemble Contests "Superior" ratings; Cross-Country (4 years), Captain; Track (4 years), Captain; Peer Leader; Elementary Mentor; Senior Class Committee.

Schneider's awards and activities at Centennial include Centennial Choir (4 years)—NWSC All-Conference Choir, Solo/Ensemble Contests, Ovation/Acapella Group; Soccer (3 years); Wrestling (2 years); Youth Soccer Volunteer; Youth Wrestling Volunteer.

The MSHSL's Administrative Regions will review the Triple A nominees from its member schools. Centennial is in Region 5AA and will compete with 16 schools. The top male and female students in the state, as determined by a points system, will be announced by MSHSL officials this spring. For more information see www.mshsl.org .
