Grant Luhmann, a senior at Centennial High School, is an award-winning composer, talented oboist, and heading to study at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University this fall. Grant was profiled in the Star Tribune.

Renee Dietz Named 2013 Teacher of the Year

Centennial Education Association (CEA) has selected Renee Dietz as the Teacher of the Year. Renee, an Early Childhood Special Educator, once read a quote that said “Don’t work for recognition—do work that is worthy of recognition,” and that is the motto she has always believed in. Renee will be nominated for state-wide honors through Education Minnesota in the fall. Congratulations, Renee!

The District proposes changes to school start times and busing schedules, effective 2013-2014. District administration studied the impact of start times on student learning and other school operations, including bus transportation.
