Knoebel named principal of Centennial Elementary

Following a thorough interview process, the School Board approved the hiring of Mr. Pete Knoebel as the permanent principal of Centennial Elementary at its regular board meeting on March 16. Knoebel has been the school’s interim principal since July 2025.
This year marks 25 years of Mr. Knoebel’s experience in education, serving not only as principal but also as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, dean of students, and assistant principal (five years as the assistant principal at Centennial Middle School).
Since stepping into the interim role last July, Mr. Knoebel has done something truly remarkable in a very short amount of time: he has established strong, meaningful, and genuine relationships with our students, staff, and families. His leadership will serve the Centennial Elementary community well into the future, honoring the school’s traditions while continuing to create a safe, supportive learning environment for everyone.
