The Centennial School District provides high-quality part-day and full-day preschool experiences. Full-day classrooms are located at each of the elementary schools in the Centennial School District; part-day classrooms are at the Early Childhood Center.
All classes are taught by licensed early childhood teachers using curriculum and assessment tools approved by the State of Minnesota. Our preschool has earned a 4 Star Parent Aware Rating. Centennial Preschool follows the Centennial School District calendar.
Preschool experiences are designed to help children develop skills and behaviors necessary for success in kindergarten and beyond. Preschoolers work on listening, personal and social development, language and literacy, problem solving and math skills through centers, group time and social interaction. Activities include language arts, math, science, art, large muscle (gym, outside), dramatic play, blocks, sensory and music through guided play.
The 23-24 brochure has information on schedules, locations, and costs. Registration is now open! Register by 8am on March 20 to be included in the placement lottery.
