About Centerville Elementary

Centerville Elementary prepares students for a successful today and tomorrow! Caring staff, respectful students and a small-town feel distinguish this school serving nearly 600 young people in grades kindergarten through five. We are a school focused on positive behavior, with students who can readily tell you that Cougar Pride consists of growing in respect, responsibility, right choices and readiness.

Centerville students have a long history of high achievement, with scores at the top— in fact, the 99th percentile for proficiency in the most recent state MCA tests! The staff at Centerville is approachable, honest, compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile.

Our close-knit community boasts an enormous amount of parent involvement. In fact, we average more than 20 parents per day volunteering throughout our school with the Watch Dogs program, at math and science stations, on field trips and with tutoring.

Centerville students are not only high achievers but also leaders in serving the community through programs ranging from the annual “Souper Bowl” food drive to the “Pennies for Patients” fundraising drive.
