COVID Testing for Students and Families

The Minnesota Department of Health announced a recommendation for all school-age youth returning to school, youth sports, or extracurricular activities, and their families, to get tested every two weeks through the end of the school year. While it is not a requirement, regular testing complements other safety measures already in place, such as masking and social distancing.

Testing can help keep schools open and sports operating and ensure we are limiting the spread of COVID-19. Testing information can be found here.

A sure sign of SPRING!

Gertens Plant Sale

The Golden Lake PTA is excited to be holding the Gerten's plant sale again this spring. Plants will be available in time to shower Mom for Mother's Day, get those pots ready for Memorial Day and summer, or just because. Your purchase will help raise funds for the Golden Lake PTA so we are able to help the school with needs they have that are not covered by school funding.

This year's event will be a little different as we are able to do all our ordering online. All orders are due by APRIL 8TH. A link to place orders will be sent out soon.

The plant pick up date is MAY 5TH so a great time to get those plants for all the occasions in May and all summer.

Please click this order link for the order form.

Want more information? We would be happy to have you sign up for the PTA. We are always looking for ideas on ways we can all work together to support our school and community. Signing up does not obligate you to anything. You will be notified of upcoming meetings (held virtually) and events. Please consider signing up.
