Help is needed from during the hours of 8am to 6pm. The truck should be to Golden Lake to unload in the morning. We then pull orders and break for lunch. Pick up is between 3 and 6. Feel free to comment or reach out to me if you can help. N.koustrup@gmail.com

Centennial Hall of Fame: A Call for Nominations
The Centennial District Hall of Fame honors alumni and individuals who have made a significant impact on Centennial Schools. Nominate a graduate who has demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments, or a member of the Centennial community with a longstanding history of service to the District. Nominations are due June 1, 2021. Nomination information can be found here. Note: The format of the Hall of Fame induction will be determined based on the COVID-19 guidelines for Fall 2021.
Gearing up for Next School Year: Adopt-a-Backpack Donations Needed
Celebrating 25 years of providing school supplies to students! With generous donations from the community, school supplies are provided to Centennial students and families in need through the Adopt-A-Backpack program. It's not too early to start thinking about next school year. Click here to find out how you can help fill a backpack and support a student.
COVID Testing for Students and Families
The Minnesota Department of Health announced a recommendation for all school-age youth returning to school, youth sports, or extracurricular activities, and their families, to get tested every two weeks through the end of the school year. While it is not a requirement, regular testing complements other safety measures already in place, such as masking and social distancing. Testing can help keep schools open and sports operating and ensure we are limiting the spread of COVID-19. Testing information can be found here.
Equity Coordinator
The Centennial School District has had continued dialogue with the school board regarding the hiring of an Equity Coordinator position for our schools (the job is currently posted and the description can be found here). The coordinator will help spearhead the effort to develop a more positive climate that leads to educational equity and improved student achievement for all students. With an Equity Audit led by Equity Alliance MN and the hiring of an Equity Coordinator, we are committed to improve the culture of our schools. Click here http://www.isd12.org/equityfor information on initiatives that help support each student.
Partnership with Equity Alliance MN
The District’s diversity and inclusion work began with an identified goal in the 2016 strategic plan. The District’s work has focused on closing the academic achievement gap, putting systems, policies, and procedures in place to help ensure we are supporting the academic and social emotional health of all students, and putting access and equity at the core of Centennial staff professional development.
We will continue our partnership with Equity Alliance MN to build a system:
of support for all students, especially our BIPOC and minoritized students.
to create a safer, more welcoming, and healthier environment in our schools.
as an affirmation and support of each student as a unique, valued, and empowered member of Centennial Schools.
We are committed to working with our stakeholders to create a collaborative plan that brings us together and synergizes us to do what is right. Find more information at www.isd12.org/equity.
Testing can help keep schools open and sports operating and ensure we are limiting the spread of COVID-19. Testing information can be found here.
Reporting Absences due to COVID-19
The district will continue to track COVID-19 illnesses for the remainder of the school year. If your student has COVID-19 symptoms, is being tested for COVID-19, or has a lab-confirmed case, please contact your student’s school nurse. Reminder to keep your child home if others in the household have COVID symptoms or have a lab-confirmed case.
Centennial’s Resource Locker
The Centennial School District has compiled a wide variety of resources for our students, families, and greater community. These resources include mental health, learning and enrichment, services specific to our aging population, crisis, where to find economic assistance and much, much more. You can find these resources on our district website here.
Reminder: Food Service continues!
FREE meals are available for ALL children, ages 18 years and younger. Children do not need to attend Centennial Schools. Click here for more information and updates!
Centennial Tip Line
A dedicated phone line is available for each school at Centennial so families and students can report any concerns, including those related to bullying, harassment, and racism. Students and families can contact school administrators about issues confidentially with no fear of retaliation or embarrassment. Click here for your school’s tip line.
Racism or hate of any type will not be tolerated at Centennial Schools. If you experience, see, or know of such behavior, please contact your school or use the Tip Line. We are committed to addressing these situations, building a respectful, safe environment that is steeped in partnership
