Activity Attendance In order to participate in a scheduled co-curricular activity, the participant is to attend all scheduled classes on that day. The student may not be truant any period. Truancy is defined as missing class or arriving to class more than 10 minutes late for unexcused reasons or leaving early without permission. In order to practice, the participant must have checked in and be in attendance by 11 am. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved ahead of time by the high school administration.
Activity participants must maintain a "C" average each quarter to remain academically eligible. Students must be making satisfactory progress in accumulating credits for high school graduation.
Student Eligibility 1. Students and parents must read and sign the Fee Packet. 2. Students must have a current physical examination form on file in the Activities Office. Physicals are only good for three years. 3. Insurance - Students must have insurance coverage under their parents or purchase it through the Student Insurance Program. 4. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. 5. Activity fee must be paid. 6. The MSHSL data privacy guidelines are as follows: "Public information shall include names and pictures of students participating in or attending extra-curricular activities, school events, and High School League activities or events."
