Update: Centennial Schools CLOSED Tuesday, January 23

All schools are closed. All daytime programs are cancelled including:

Early Childhood Family/Special Education Programs
School Readiness Preschool
Kids Club
All Community Education classes and rentals are cancelled, except for swimming lessons and gymnastics at Centennial High School East Building.

The speech meet at Centennial Middle School is cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

On Tuesday, December 12, 2017, Centennial High School will host Mike Branch from Focus Financial Network who will present financial planning information in the Performing Arts Center from 6:30 – 8:00pm. This session is designed to help educate parents on ways to get the most out of the financial aid system, reduce taxes, and find ways to pay less for their child’s education. Registration is not required.

Items covered in the workshop include:

• Two Types of Aid: Need Based and Merit Based
• Three Critical Issues in College Planning: Taxes, Control and Financial Aid
• Scholarships, Loans and Grants
• Tax credits, tax-free savings accounts and other incentives
• How to structure assets and income to maximize eligibility for financial aid
• The Four Partners in Planning: Parent, Student, School, Government
• Leveraging Your Recipe: GPA, Class Rank, ACT Score, EFC, Unique Abilities.
