This is my seventh year at Centennial teaching physics, physical science, and, on occasion, chemistry. I love physics! I love teaching science! And I am looking forward to this year!

I grew up just outside of Waseca, Minnesota with my older sister and twin brother. I've always loved discovering new things and solving problems, so I went to the University of Minnesota to earn a degreen in physics and a masters degree in science education. Since then, I've been teaching and am still finding time to learn and discover new things. My current long-term project is building a my own telescope from scratch. I enjoy sharing adventures with my wife - she is always a source of support inspiration for me. We are continuing the adventure of raising our two-year-old son! I'm so excited!

My professional interests include problem-solving skills, effective group work, and equality in science education.
